What do I need to do in order to become a Fill-in?
All of our temporaries are asked to schedule an interview appointment in our office to fill out the application and to answer a few questions so that we can understand exactly what you are looking for in terms of temporary or permanent work.

Do I need to bring any official documentation to the interview appointment?
Yes, we ask that all candidates bring in copies of their Driver's License, Social Security Card or Passport. If you want to do assisting, you will also need an xray certificate. All RDA's, RDH's, and Dentists are asked to provide a copy of their California license.

Is the in-office interview mandatory?
Yes, unless you have previously worked with Dental Fill-ins, we need to be able to meet with you to explain our procedures as well as to understand what you are looking for in terms of temporary or permanent work. We like to get to know all of our Fill-ins!

I do not have a year's worth of experience yet, can I still become a Fill-in?
Yes and No. Most of our offices require a minimum of 1 year's experience since they are paying a referral fee to Dental Fill-ins. However, there are some offices who may be looking for a permanent employee who has less experience. If you have less that 1 year's experience, we may not be able to place you as frequently as you would like to work - but we will make every effort to do so.

I am only looking for a permanent position, do I still need to come into your office?
Yes, we still need to get to know you and ask a few questions about what type of position you are looking for; you will also need to complete our application and provide the necessary documentation.
